2. Industrial:Digital Realty Launching New Downtown Data Center

Data centers are ahot ticket in industrial real estate, and this new one should be one of the hottest. Digital Realty is planning to build this new data center right next to its flagship center in downtown Chicago, and CBRE has already begun pre-leasing. Developers at Digital Realty are even interviewing potential tenants before beginning construction in order to tailor their plans to anticipated needs.

3. Retail:Retail Industry Has Modest Expectations for Black Friday 2016

The holidays are the most important time of the year for retailers, and Black Friday is the focal point for brick-and-mortar retailers. This year, however, their predictions are lukewarm. Industry experts expect slight improvements over last year, but nothing major.
